Expat Program
This is an intensive/comprehensive study of the national language (Filipino) concentrating on conversational drills and the subsequent application of the rules of grammar. Among the 87 dialects, Tagalog has been chosen as the basis of the national language of the Philippines. Why Tagalog instead of the other more interesting dialects in the Philippines ? Tagalog is widely spoken and the most understood. Tagalog literature is the richest. It has always been the language of Manila, the capital city, long before the Spaniards came.
To understand the culture, it is pertinent that you get a feel of the language. This is a short course that is enriched with the significant expressions and vocabulary, relevant rules on sentence structures, conversation drills and all the necessary tips to guide you through your language-learning long after you finish the course.
CULTURE GRIP APPLICATION EXPAT PROGRAM
The Filipinos are life-oriented, they say. However, that's the icing on the cake. This course teaches you the secrets to effectively make Filipino characteristics and ethics work to your advantage. As a non-native, it doesn't hurt to know how Filipino values can work for you. Be able to optimize results by knowing the local politics of communication and management.
It is true that much of the lessons in this course may eventually be learned in your social environment. However, it matters a great deal to be fully equipped and relatively adjusted to the concepts and principles that will make you an instant achiever and not just another player in the sand box.
